Description Our Leveson yachting caps are exact replicas of the cap worn by the late Admiral Sir Arthur Cavenagh Leveson whilst serving aboard HMS Victoria when she collided with HMS Camperdown on the 22nd of June 1893. Our Leveson yachting caps are manufactured in our UK workshop utilising dark Navy classic Melton 100% wool of the highest quality to make a lightweight but durable product incorporating a real leather sweatband, a perforated stiffener, a cap badge of your choice and a 100% cotton cap cover. Please note: It is important to measure your head when purchasing a new cap. Please do not rely on the size in your existing cap as sizing varies between independent cap manufacturers. Cap sizing: To determine your cap size place a fabric tape measure around your head, 1 centimeter above your ears. Hold the tape firmly across the forehead and take the measurement in centimeters. If your measurement falls between sizes please choose the next largest size. Included with your cap are 4 size reducers which can be inserted underneath the sweatband to achieve the correct fit.
